Beasley Media Group announces Legendary WMMR-FM Midday Personality Pierre Robert was celebrated among the inductees of the 2019 Philadelphia Music Alliance’s (PMA) Annual Walk of Fame. Other honorees included the Philadelphia Orchestra, The O’Jays, The Hooters, Evelyn “Champagne” King, Jody Gerson and Dorrance “Dodo” Hamilton.
The ceremony kicked off at noon on Tuesday, October 22th with the official unveiling of inductee plaques along the Avenue of the Arts in front of Dorrance Hamilton Hall at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
The event was followed by an evening gala celebration held in the Grand Ballroom of the Bellevue Philadelphia Hotel. The festivities included honoree introductions made by Mark Goodman (Host, SiriusXM Big 80s on 8 & Volume), legendary Musician Todd Rundgren, Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff (Sound of Philadelphia legendary architects), Larry Magid (PMA Chairman Emeritus & Special Advisor), T. Life (Producer-Songwriter), Matt Cord (BEN-FM Morning Personality and Philadelphia 76ers Announcer), Matias Tarnopolsky (President & CEO, Philadelphia Orchestra), David Yager (President & CEO, University of the Arts) and the Urban Guerilla Orchestra.
