Caroline Beasley

Chief Executive Officer

With BBGI Since 1983

Caroline Beasley serves as Chief Executive Officer of Beasley Media Group and is the Chair of the company’s Board of Directors.

The media executive is the immediate past Chair of the BMI Board of Directors, is a member of the Federal Communications Committee (FCC) Diversity and Inclusion Committee, is a former Joint Board Chair of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Board of Directors and is a past Chairman of the NAB Radio Board.

In addition, she currently serves as a member of the Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFOA) Board of Directors and the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation (NABLF).

Ms. Beasley has been consistently ranked on an annual basis among the top five of Radio Ink magazine’s “40 Most Powerful People in Radio” list. In addition, she has been featured among the magazine’s “Most Influential Women in Radio” on an annual basis since 2003.

Among her many industry accolades, Ms. Beasley was inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame in May 2023 and was among the “Giants of American Broadcasting” by the Library of American Broadcasting in November of 2023.

In addition, she received the prestigious NAB “National Radio Award” in April 2022 for her outstanding contributions in the radio industry. In 2019, she received the “Horizon Award” for her vision and industry leadership during the Media Institute’s Free Speech Gala. In 2017, she was recognized by Radio Ink magazine as “Radio Executive of the Year”. Ms. Beasley received the 2016 “Distinguished Service Award” from the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters

She was honored with the 2012 recipient of the “Frances Preston Trailblazer Award” from the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group (MIW), a national organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of women to senior positions in the radio industry.

Ms. Beasley earned a B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina.

Bruce G. Beasley

President

Bruce G. Beasley has served as Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc.’s President since 1997 and as a Director since 1980. He began his career in the broadcasting industry with the company in 1975 and since that time has served in various capacities, including General Sales Manager, General Manager of a major market radio station, and as Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Beasley is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Radio Advertising Bureau. He earned a B.S. degree from East Carolina University.

Brian E. Beasley

Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

With BBGI Since 1977

Brian Beasley was appointed Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc.’s Chief Operating Officer on January 1, 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Operations from 1997 until December 31, 2016. Mr. Beasley has served as a Director of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. since 1982. He brings 40 years of media experience to this position.

Mr. Beasley serves on the Board of Directors of the Radio Advertising Bureau and is a past member of the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters Board of Directors. He earned a B.S. degree from East Carolina University.

Brad Beasley

Vice President of Operations

With BBGI Since 1987

Brad Beasley was named Vice President of Operations at Beasley Media Group (BMG) in October 2020. In his role, he works closely with the company President and Chief Operating Officer in overseeing the day-to-day operations of BMG’s 57 radio stations.

Mr. Beasley previously served as Vice President and Market Manager of the company’s six Southwest Florida radio properties. Prior to that, he worked as General Manager and Program Director at WRXK-FM within the cluster.

Lauren Burrows Coleman

Chief Financial Officer

Lauren Burrows Coleman was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Beasley Media Group  in November 2024.

Prior to joining Beasley, Ms. Burrows Coleman held the position of Global Head of Strategic Corporate and Commercial Finance at Wayfair (NYSE: W), where she led a global team of 50 professionals across Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate Development, and Global Tax functions.

Her impressive career includes leadership roles at private equity firms WindSail Capital Group and Wind Point Partners, as well as GE Capital, where she managed equity and debt investments in diverse industries. Ms. Burrows Coleman began her professional journey as an investment banker in the Communications & Media group at Lehman Brothers.

Ms. Burrows Coleman holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an A.B. cum laude from Dartmouth College.

Chris Ornelas

Executive Vice President & General Counsel

With BBGI Since 2020

Chris Ornelas serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Beasley Media Group. He joined the company on February 1, 2020.

Prior to joining Beasley, the highly respected media executive most recently spent nearly a decade serving as chief operating and strategy officer of the National Association of Broadcasters, where he was responsible for overseeing the operations of and providing strategic guidance to NAB’s advocacy teams in addressing the diverse legal and regulatory issues facing broadcasters today.

Previously, Mr. Ornelas served as Chief Counsel on Communications and Technology Policy in NAB President, CEO, and former Senator Gordon Smith’s U.S. Senate office, overseeing all matters relating to communications, media, entertainment and technology before the Senate Commerce Committee. In that role, he developed and advanced multiple legislative initiatives on a wide array of communications and technology issues and advised the senator on legislation that considered digital content protection, media ownership, spectrum allocation, broadband deployment and regulations, and telecommunications reform.

The broadcast veteran’s career also includes nearly a decade in the Washington offices of law firm Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP, where he represented broadcast clients on policy, regulatory and transactional matters before the FCC. In this capacity, Mr. Ornelas licensed some of the first HD Radio stations in the U.S. and assisted several broadcasters with regulatory matters surrounding the transactional matters around high-definition television.

He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Board of Directors.

Mr. Ornelas earned a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at the American University and a bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric and Communications Studies from the University of Virginia.

He resides on Capitol Hill with his wife, Maria and their son Dante.

Justin Chase

Chief Content Officer

Justin Chase was named Chief Content Officer at Beasley Media Group in January 2020. Mr. Chase previously served as Executive Vice President of Programming since 2013, In his role, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-air content on behalf of the company. Previously, Mr. Chase served as Vice President of Programming and Operations Manager for the company’s four music stations in Las Vegas, including KCYE-FM, KKLZ-FM, KOAS-FM and KVGS-FM.

The radio executive is a past recipient of Beasley Media Group’s annual “Program Director of the Year” award and has been recognized among the “Best Programmers in Radio” by numerous industry publications.

A past member of the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Board and graduate of the Broadcast Leadership Training (BLT) program, Mr. Chase serves in leadership roles within numerous industry organizations, including the Media Ratings Council’s (MRC) Board of Directors, the MRC Radio Committee and the MRC Digital Committee. In addition, he served as a member of COLRAM, the Nielsen Advisory Council and participated in special projects with The Council for Research Excellence (CRE).

Tina Murley

Chief Revenue Officer

Tina Murley serves as the Chief Revenue Officer for Beasley Media Group, where she oversees traditional and digital sales for the company. With over 25 years of combined media, sales, marketing, digital, and management experience, she has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing sales teams. Tina specializes in omni-channel media solutions with an emphasis on digital offerings. She has held key sales management positions at Viacom, CBS, and Hearst Media before joining Beasley Media Group. She has been recognized among the Most Influential Women in Radio by Radio Ink Magazine, a nationally respected industry publication, and currently serves on the board of the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB). Tina is also a 2021 graduate of the NAB Broadcast Leadership Training (BLT) program. Ms. Murley earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Rhode Island.

Lamar Smith

Vice President & Director of Corporate Engineering

Lamar Smith serves as the Vice President and Director of Corporate Engineering at Beasley Media Group, where he oversees all engineering activities across the company’s 57 radio properties throughout the United States. Promoted to this role in August 2024, Mr. Smith has been with Beasley since 2011, previously holding the position of Vice President of Engineering. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he is dedicated to ensuring the company’s technical operations meet the highest standards in the broadcast industry.

David Snyder

Head of Digital Content Marketing

With BBGI Since 2024

David Snyder serves as the Head of Digital Content Marketing at Beasley Media Group. He joined the company in August 2024. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing digital marketing and building revenue opportunities on behalf of the company with an emphasis on newsletters, SEO, websites and affiliate marketing as well as leading the developers working across the organization.

Previously, Mr. Snyder spent 14 years serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Copy Press, a content marketing platform he built that has helped companies like Uber, AirBnB, Indeed, and Macy’s scale their content production and marketing efforts.

In addition, the digital marketing executive has worked on hundreds of large-scale content projects for companies across multiple verticals, creating production and technology solutions for complex content needs as well as founded Search and Social, a search and social media marketing agency.

Mr. Snyder is based in Tampa, Florida.

Heidi Raphael

Chief Communications Officer

Heidi Raphael serves as Beasley Media Group’s Chief Communications Officer. In her role, she is responsible for providing leadership in overseeing all aspects of communications, branding, and marketing on behalf of the Company.  The media executive previously served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Greater Media, Inc., located in Braintree, MA.

Ms. Raphael has been recognized among the “Most Influential Women in Radio” by Radio Ink magazine, a leading national industry publication, on an annual basis since 2006 and was named the recipient of the 2023 Leadership Award from the Broadcasters Foundation of America. In addition, she was inducted into the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame in November 2021.

She currently serves as Co-chair of the Board of Directors of the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation and is a member of the Florida Association of Broadcasters Board of Directors. The media executive is a member of the National Association of Broadcasters’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Board Committee and is a member of the Southwest Florida Press Club.

In addition, Ms. Raphael volunteers on the Southwest Florida Advisory Board of Home Base, an organization dedicated to helping veterans and their families.

The radio veteran is a past elected member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Alliance for Women in Media (AWM). Additionally, she served as the spokesperson (six years) and as a past Executive Committee member of the Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio Group (MIW), a national organization dedicated to mentoring and promoting the advancement of women to senior positions in the broadcasting industry.

Committed to supporting her hometown community, Ms. Raphael is a past Chair and President of the Buffalo Broadcasters Association, a past member of the Board of Trustees of Medaille College and served on the Buffalo History Museum Board of Managers.

A recipient of the 2023 Leadership Award from the Broadcasters Foundation of America, the Western New York native received her undergraduate degree in Media Communications from Medaille College and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.

Shaun Greening

Vice President of Financial Reporting

With BBGI Since 2000

Shaun Greening, a native of New Zealand, serves as Vice President of Financial Reporting for the Company. He joined Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. in February of 2000 as the Company completed its initial public offering. Mr. Greening previously served as an Audit Manager for KPMG in Tampa, FL. He is a graduate of Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration.

Mr. Greening holds a CPA license from the state of Florida. In the local Naples community, he helps manage the Optimist Club of Naples Soccer Program and volunteers in middle and high school classrooms on behalf of Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida. Additionally, Mr. Greening served on the Finance Council of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Kimberly R. Sonneborn

Vice President of Digital Operations

Kimberly Sonneborn serves as Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc.’s Vice President of Digital Operations. In her role, she is responsible for evolving the company’s digital processes and ensuring alignment with corporate operators and partners.

Ms. Sonneborn previously served as Vice President of Digital Design and Production for the Company, with responsibility for directing all digital projects from conception to launch, formulating the initial design concepts and determining the most appropriate manner in which to present digital projects to both station personnel and advertisers.

Ms. Sonneborn joined the company as its Interactive Coordinator in 2000. In that capacity, she was responsible for building the company’s interactive department.

She is a graduate of Liberty University, where she received degrees in Public Relations and Graphic Design. Ms. Sonneborn ranked first in her class in graphic design and was the recipient of the institution’s top graphic design award. In addition, she is a 2018 graduate of the Mentoring and Inspiring Women (MIW) Radio Group Mentoring Program.

Erika Beasley

Vice President of Digital Content

Ms. Beasley previously served as the Corporate Digital Content Director for Local Markets since 2019.

In her role, she is responsible for overseeing content creation on the company’s many digital platforms.

Prior to joining the digital division, Ms. Beasley was the Vice President and Market Manager of the company’s stations in Fayetteville, North Carolina, including WKML-FM, WZFX-FM, WFLB-FM, WUKS-FM, and WAZZ-AM. In addition, she held sales manager positions at several radio stations within Beasley’s Tampa and Philadelphia market clusters.

The broadcast veteran is a graduate of the National Association of Broadcasters’ (NAB) Broadcast Leadership Training Class of 2017 as well as the BMI & Radio Advertising Bureau’s Rising Through The Ranks program, where she received the first-ever Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group’s (MIW) “Rising Star Award”.

In addition, Ms. Beasley has served on the boards of several industry and community organizations, including the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters, the United Way of Cumberland County, the Methodist University Board of Visitors and the Fayetteville Kiwanis Club.

Kevin Rich

Vice President of Operations

Kevin Rich was named Vice President of Operations of the company in April 2022. In his role, Kevin works closely with company President Bruce Beasley, Chief Operating Officer Brian Beasley and Vice President of Operations Brad Beasley in overseeing the day-to-day business of the company’s 57 radio stations and multiple platforms.

Prior to joining Beasley Media Group, Kevin spent four years serving as Market President & Chief Revenue and Content Officer at Townsquare’s Albany, New York based radio cluster, where he was responsible for overseeing and managing the market with a focus on generating revenue across the company’s media and entertainment platforms. Previously, he worked as the General Sales Manager in 2011 before being promoted to Director of Sales in 2016. In addition, Kevin worked as a Senior Account Executive at CBS Radio in Seattle, Washington and Citadel in Syracuse, New York. He began his career as a sales executive at WRMF-FM in West Palm Beach.

The media executive is based out of the company’s headquarters in Naples, Florida.

Pat Eastburn

Vice President of Digital Sales

Pat Eastburn was named Vice President of Digital Sales in January 2022. In his role, Eastburn is responsible  for leading the digital sales team and focusing on new products, services and key verticals on behalf of the company. He previously spent seven years serving as the Vice President and General Manager at Flypaper Digital Marketing, the internal digital agency of WEHCO Media.

Jennifer Williams

Vice President of Digital Marketing

With BBGI Since 2016

Jennifer Williams is responsible for overseeing the marketing of the company’s digital content platforms and leveraging data to drive traffic, audience engagement and advertiser growth.

Ms. Williams previously served as the Director of Interactive Marketing. Prior to joining Beasley Media Group, she spent nearly 20 years at Greater Media, Inc. (GMI), where the media executive worked as the Director of Digital Marketing and was responsible for overseeing the interactive marketing efforts on behalf of the company’s 20 radio properties. Ms. Williams initially joined the organization as the Marketing Director of WCSX-FM in 1997. Previously, the radio veteran held on-air and marketing director positions at WODJ-FM (Grand Rapids), WJXQ-FM (Lansing) and WIBM-FM (Jackson) in Michigan.

A graduate of Albion College, Ms. Williams is a past chair and advisory board member of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation. She currently serves on the advisory board of the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group.
