Beasley Media Group’s WXTU-FM 92.5, Philadelphia’s Country Station, invites listeners to participate in the 20th Annual Toy Truck Parade. The event will kick-off on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Walmart Supercenter (1515 Bethlehem Pike) in Hatfield, PA.
The Toy Truck Parade will feature WXTU-FM 92.5 on-air personalities, including The Andie Summers Show and Razz on the Radio. Proceeds from the annual event and toy collection will benefit The United Service Organization (USO) and The Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
Participants are encouraged to decorate their cars, trucks, SUV’s and emergency vehicles and fill them with new, unwrapped toys.
Vehicles will parade down a four-mile route on Bethlehem Pike beginning at Walmart Supercenter and end at the Montgomery Mall, to deliver the toys to the center court.
Judges will score the best-decorated vehicles in four categories, including Big Rig, Commercial, Personal and Emergency.
A United States Military Serviceman and his family will serve as the parade’s official Grand Marshall. In addition, WXTU-FM 92.5 on-air personalities will award a special trophy to this year’s Grand Marshall and to the best-decorated vehicles.
Festivities will include a local school singing Christmas Carols in front of the mountain of toys and a photo booth to capture keepsake moments. In addition, members of the Armed Services and the Boys and Girls Clubs will be on hand to help build the mountain of toys.
