92.5 XTU Changes Station Name in Celebration of Garth Brooks’ Dive Bar Tour Stop

Beasley Media Group’s 92.5 XTU will flip the station name to become “Garth 92.5” in honor of Garth Brook’s upcoming “Dive Bar Tour” concert. The event will take place on Monday, December 2nd at Prospector’s Grille & Saloon.

In celebration of Garth Brooks’ long history with 92.5 XTU and to commemorate his historical show at Prospector’s, Garth 92.5 will broadcast live from the venue and highlight some of Brook’s biggest hits all day long.

In 1989, Garth Brooks 1st single, entitled Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old) aired on XTU in its 5th year as a country station. In September 1998, Garth Brooks played six consecutive nights at the First Union Center in Philadelphia. The legendary performer returned on July 4, 2001 to play in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum to celebrate Philadelphia’s Welcome America Festival. In March of 2017, Brooks brought his World Tour to Philadelphia and played four nights at the Wells Fargo Center.
