Beasley Media Group announces WJBR-FM’s 2023 Help Our Kids Radiothon raised $323,278 to benefit Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. The 13th annual radiothon took place from Thursday, September 21st through Friday, September 22ndin the Anthony R. Fusco Atrium.
Mix 99.5 featured live broadcasts throughout the two days with Deanna & Justin in the Morning, Mike Rossi, Eric Johnson, Donna Cavender, Lora Lewis, the one and only Michael Waite and more! The station on air personalities shared stories of hope, courage and compassion from patients, patient families, community members and Nemours Children’s associates.
“Another successful Help Our Kids Radiothon on Mix 99.5 FM WJBR Wilmington Delaware for Nemours Children’s Hospital,” said station Program Director and Afternoon Drive Personality Eric Jonhson. “Over the past three years our team, loyal clients and listeners have raised over $1,000,000 for the kids.”
