Bala Cynwyd, PA (June 7, 2018): WMGK-FM announces the John DeBella Annual Radiothon live broadcast will take place on Friday, June 15th from 6 am to 6 pm live from in front of the National Constitution Center. DeBella, along with a variety of famous rock stars & musicians, will encourage listeners to call 1-800-678-WMGK (9645) or go to wmgk.com to make a donation.
This year, in conjunction with the Radiothon, the station will also conduct a series of eBay auctions that will be accessible on wmgk.com. The auction items will include front row tickets to see the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Jimmy Buffett, Billy Joel, Ozzy Osbourne, MGK\’s Big Gig (featuring Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, Jeff Beck, and Heart’s Ann Wilson), along with autographed items from Guns N’ Roses & Yes.
All funds raised from the eBay auctions and the Radiothon will benefit the Veterans Multi-Service Center (VMC) in Philadelphia, whose mission is to provide services, programs, opportunities and advancement to veterans and their families.
Over the past decade, the station has raised over one million dollars for the local veterans via the annual event.
