As we continue to grow and evolve our business model, we’re looking for an experienced Director of FP&A to build our financial planning and analysis function, drive strategic financial initiatives, and support decision-making processes.

Role Overview

Reporting into the CFO, the Director of FP&A will play a crucial role in shaping Beasley Media Group’s financial strategy by delivering accurate forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. This individual will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis while partnering with stakeholders across finance, sales, and operations to drive value and enhance financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting
    • Oversee annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
    • Collaborate with the operations and sales teams to produce accurate top-line revenue forecasts and scenario analyses.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
    • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Analyze and report on KPIs, operating expenses, revenue, and profitability by business unit and market.
  • Business Partnering
    • Partner with the executive team, accounting team, and department heads to develop insights and financial strategies.
    • Provide recommendations on cost optimization, revenue growth, and investment opportunities.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Drive monthly and quarterly financial reviews, analyzing variances against forecasts and historical trends.
    • Track and report progress on strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Leadership & Development
    • Lead strong cross-functional collaboration with accounting, sales, operations, and digital teams to support growth and enhance financial visibility.
    • Hire, mentor and develop FP&A analysts, establishing clear performance goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in FP&A, with a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. System implementation experience a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial planning systems (e.g., Mosaic, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite) a plus.
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Proven leadership experience, with an emphasis on team development and cross-functional collaboration.
