Reports to: Director of Treasury

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Receivable Manager with 5+ years of experience to lead our AR function. This role will be responsible for managing billing processes, customer collections, and AR reporting. The AR Manager will collaborate closely with sales, finance and accounting, and operations teams to streamline processes and optimize cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, and cash application.
  • Implement strategies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and improve cash collection cycles.
  • Maintain accurate AR records and ensure proper reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Develop and monitor AR metrics, providing actionable insights and reporting to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, to resolve client billing and payment issues.
  • Manage AR aging reports and ensure timely follow-up on overdue accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations (e.g., GAAP).
  • Support the month-end closing process by providing AR-related reports and analysis.
  • Supervise and mentor AR specialists, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of AR management experience, with demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and AR automation tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the media, digital advertising, or broadcasting industries.
  • Familiarity with AR software such as Tesorio or YayPay.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
