Janet Patterson is the 1st Quarter winner of The President’s Club Award for Fayetteville! Here is the nomination narrative submitted by Katy Lollis and Greg Simonson and we think you will agree it is well done and an accurate depiction of our friend and co-worker, Janet.
“Janet has been chosen because she is one incredible lady. While we cannot discriminate age, we can honor the fact that a person 69 years of age can keep pace with a 20-year-old. Janet’s 21 years with Beasley have seen their share of peeks and challenges. Some of the biggest of those challenges came in 2017, but she found her ‘mojo’ strength and pulled herself up to come back with a passion rarely seen in a rep.
Janet espouses all of our core values. She comes to work very early and embraces each day and every person. She always has a warm smile and a hug to help lift people up.
We have so many businesses that would buy advertising regardless of the rep, but many of the clients that spend ad dollars with Janet are still advertising because ‘Janet’ is the person behind the medium. She has deep-rooted hometown relationships, and while they could go elsewhere, they are giving Beasley 100% share because of Janet.
She is always there to support any promotion the stations are hosting. In January, she donated her time to help with MLK Day of Sharing. In February, she donated her time to help with our local movie premiers. In March, Janet worked with Bojangles to be the exclusive satellite sponsor of the St. Jude Radiothon. She not only sold the sponsorship, but she also worked the event from start to finish over the entire 3-day period.
Digitally, Janet is an ‘A’ student, averaging a 90 score on our recent training. And she put the training into practice, immediately strategizing with multiple clients for digital solutions in ways she’d never tried before. While Janet’s enthusiasm and smarts are impressive, it is really her fighting spirit and a calming smile that makes Janet a unique fixture in the Fayetteville market.
Janet was fortunate to get her name into the running for the Q1 Company contest! Her reputation and loyalty to Beasley is a prime example of what the ‘Beasley Best’ means.
