Naples, Florida (8/27/18): BMI Hit Songwriter Kara DioGuardi shared stories and performed several of her hit songs during a special lunchtime session during the 2018 Beasley Media Group Managers Meeting. The event took place on Friday, August 24th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston.
DioGuardi is a Grammy-nominated hit songwriter, performer, co-founder of Arthouse Music publishing, author, restauranteur, and philanthropist. Her honors include BMI Pop Songwriter of the Year Award, NAMM Music For Life Award, NMPA Songwriter Icon Award, and she’s received more than 20 other Awards for co-writing the most performed songs on the radio.
While there, the legendary songwriter shared her story of how she ascended up the ranks to become one of BMI’s leading songwriters in the music industry during an up close and personal conversation with Country 102.5/WKLB-FM (Boston) Midday Personality Carolyn Kruse. In addition, DioGuardi performed several of her hit songs, including Sober (Pink), Pieces of Me (Ashlee Simpson) and Undo It (Carrie Underwood).
