The six-station cluster-wide initiative, focused on domestic violence, was created in conjunction with the local District Attorney’s office after Beasley Media Charlotte Integrated Marketing Account Executive Krista Stout met with local officials to discuss how the company could help raise awareness to issues affecting the community. During the conversation, she learned that it is very difficult to get people to speak up and come to court to put these defendants behind bars. As a result, Beasley Media Group Charlotte’s six stations came together to address this important community problem and encouraged listeners to stand up with them to “Be Their Hope”.

“We are so very proud of Pebbles, Krista and our stations for being honored among this year’s Gracies winners,” said Beasley Media Group Chief Executive Officer Caroline Beasley. “Their inspirational work and dedication underscore our commitment to serving as a lifeline for the communities we serve on a daily basis. They are a great example of what our Beasley Best philosophy is all about.”

Net Proceeds from the national and local event will benefit the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation’s educational programs and scholarship campaigns that benefit women in media.
