Beasley Media Group Las Vegas Celebrates the Life of Jeff Anderson

Beasley Media Group is celebrating the life of KKLZ-FM Evening On-Air Personality and Production Director Jeff Anderson. The radio veteran passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 due to health-related complications.

The Wichita, Kansas native joined the company in 2006 as the midday personality at KKLZ-FM. After the station flipped from the classic rock to classic hits format, he moved to evenings and took on the role of production director. In addition, upon initially arriving in Las Vegas in the late 80’s, Jeff originality worked at 96.3 KKLZ before moving on to 107.5 KFBI (now KXTE).

“I’ve known Jeff for nearly 20 years, working with him almost that entire time in radio at both CBS Radio and Beasley,” said Beasley Media Group Chief Content Officer, Justin Chase. “In that time, I’ve come to greatly respect Jeff for his talent, professionalism and kindness.  All of us here at Beasley are deeply saddened by his sudden passing and will miss him immensely.”

“Jeff Anderson was the consummate radio pro and could do it all,” said KKLZ-FM Program Director and Morning Personality Mike O’Brian. “He was a great co-worker, an amazing friend to all and was always willing to go that extra mile. Jeff will truly be missed by everyone.”

The radio veteran, who spent more than 25 years in the Las Vegas radio market, was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame in 2008.
