Beasley Media Group Augusta announces Kicks 99 collected $19,250 and more than $7,000 worth of toys to benefit needy families in the local community this holiday season during the Kicks 99 Christmas Wish! Listeners nominated over 160 families for consideration to have their Christmas Wishes granted.
Kicks 99 partnered with Lil G’s Wagons of Hope to provide each family with a wagon packed with over $600 worth of toys, for a total of $6000 toys donated to the families! In addition, they received a $100 VISA gift card, a Christmas meal ($175 value) and an iPad.
To keep everyone safe this year, webpages were set-up for each family to receive funds directly and contact-free this holiday season. In addition, Kicks 99 also accepted donations on the air on Friday, December 11th from 5:30am – 10:00am during a special live station broadcast. Listeners and businesses were encouraged to drive up and drop off new, unwrapped toys safety to benefit the Kicks 99 Christmas Wish families.
