WCSX-FM’s Big Jim’s House Takes Over the Airwaves for a Seger Shutdown

DETROIT, MI (February 13, 2019): Beasley Media Group, LLC; a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBGI) announces Big Jim’s House locked the studio doors and took over the WCSX airwaves at 10am this morning in protest of Bob Seger not announcing a show date in Detroit for his final tour in 2019.

Big Jim’s House will play nothing but Bob Seger music on the air and will not allow any other WCSX jocks to take to the air waves until the Motor City Rock-in-roll legend announces a date he will be performing in Detroit.

“We love Bob Seger,” said Morning Show Co-host Big Jim. “He’s part of the DNA of our beloved city. We plan to keep our “Seger Shutdown” going until we get an official concert date on the calendar.”
