Philadelphia, PA (June 18, 2025):The 20th annual 93.3 WMMR I Bleed for Preston & Steve Blood Drive was nothing short of extraordinary, as thousands of generous fans came together for one of the region’s most impactful community events.
Held across two days—Thursday, June 12th at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and Friday, June 13th at the
Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks—the event collected an impressive 930 units of blood, including contributions from 74 first-time donors.
- 765 units were collected in Oaks
- 165 units came from donors at Live! Casino
This year’s effort brings the grand 20-year total to an astounding 21,999 units—nearly 22,000 lives potentially saved, thanks to the unwavering support of WMMR’s passionate listeners.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to the American Red Cross staff and volunteers, the event venues, and dedicated partners including Neumann Media at Neumann University, Window Nation (for the always-popular P&S tote bags), and listener Kristen Kimball, who designed this year’s T-shirt.
Special shoutouts to Jacky Bam Bam, Pierre Robert, and Brent Porche, whose presence helped make the milestone event even more memorable.
Twenty years in, the message remains powerful: I Bleed for Preston & Steve is more than a slogan—it’s a tradition of compassion, community, and commitment to saving lives!
