Beasley Media Group, LLC, a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBGI) announces Jonathan Wier has been named as the new morning Host on Country 102.5FM. The Jonathan Wier & Ayla Brown Show will officially launch on Wednesday, September 4th from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on WKLB-FM.
The St. Louis native, who took a unique path to radio after his wife entered him into a radio talk show host search back in 2004, most recently spent the past four years serving as the nighttime personality at KMBZ-FM in Kansas City.
“I am extremely excited to be joining one of the top country stations in the nation and working for the best and most respected company in the business, Beasley Media Group,” said Wier. “The fact that this is also happening in Boston, a city that I’ve always dreamed of living in, is just the icing on the cake!”
“I am thrilled to welcome Jonathan to WKLB,” said Beasley Media Group National Country Brand Manager and WKLB-FM Program Director, David Corey. “The Jonathan Wier & Ayla Brown show is going to be a powerhouse show!’
“Jonathan is the perfect addition to our team of world-class talent,” said Beasley Media Group Boston Vice President of Programming, Cadillac Jack. “We’re excited to welcome him to Beasley Boston and look forward to many successful years together!”
Jackson Blue will move from doing mornings to hosting the afternoon drive shift from 2-7pm on the station.
Jonathan Good Morning,
My Name is Jim Norris and I love 102.5 it’s so refreshing to listen to. But this 5/8/24 it brought new possibilities for improved communication with my wife. You had a list of the most undesirables in Mass. (by the way I agree with all, but I had no paper to jot them down) So if you have the desire and the time, I would like a copy of the list. My email is Jnorris2731@comcast.net
Or mail 40 Oxford St.
Melrose, Ma. 02176 Thank You,
Jim
