A rare opportunity is available to join a major market radio engineering team to work with some of the newest state of the art technology at Tampa’s Beasley Media Group.  Duties include but are not limited to studio and transmitter maintenance and construction, as well as troubleshooting advanced RF Systems, and audio routing systems.  The ideal candidate will be successful in working well with staff, thinking clearly under pressure and applying creative solutions in a timely matter.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of radio engineering experience;
  • Knowledge of RF Systems and RF troubleshooting skills;
  • Experience with radio studio construction and maintenance;
  • Experience with WideOrbit Radio Automation software is preferred, but not required;
  • Ability to provide helpdesk support to end users for Microsoft Desktop Operating  Systems;
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures regarding Networking;
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds;
  • Must be willing to work off hours and be on call;
  • Must have own transportation;
  • SBE Certification a plus;
  • Ensure compliance with FCC Rules and Regulations;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance are required;

Description:  Beasley Media Group, LLC is hiring a full-time Promotions Coordinator to work with both Country 102.5 and 98.5 The Sports Hub.  You will also be part of the marketing team that assists our other great music stations: 105.7 WROR, ROCK 92.9, and HOT 96.9. We are looking for an outgoing, hardworking, and creative individual with a strong interest in marketing, graphic design, promotions and events to join our team.

Job Summary:  This individual will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Promotions for Country 102.5 and 98.5 The Sports Hub. Responsibilities vary per station including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with the station Street Team scheduling and their activities
  • Responsible for Street Team recruiting
  • Assist with coordination and execution of on-site logistics at station events
  • Organize and maintain all promotional giveaways
  • Assist with maintaining the station website – creating daily unique content, writing local stories, building contests, and updating calendars
  • Creating station promotional graphics
  • Creating daily engaging social media content for all platforms
  • Manage prize fulfillment and winner database
  • Work directly with the sales department on creating and executing sales marketing campaigns

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of promotional experience (media experience preferable), excel in customer service, and be a proven team player.  Must be a social media superstar with in-depth knowledge of all social platforms. Flexibility and availability for nights and weekends are a must.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Creative Adobe Suite (i.e., Photoshop, Audition) is necessary.  In addition, candidates must be efficient in WordPress or other web CMS platforms, as well as social scheduling platforms.  Excellent communication skills, writing skills, problem-solving skills, and creativity are integral to this position.

Digital Program Director

Description: Beasley Media Group Tampa is looking for an experienced Digital Program Director to lead our cluster’s Digital Department. The ideal candidate will lead and coach our team to develop, produce and deliver engaging content for programming and sales, as well as assist with management of our websites and social media. 

THIS PERSON WILL LEAD THE DIGITAL EXPANSION EFFORT FOR THE CLUSTER:

  • Manage and implement strategies to increase website traffic to meet Corporate goals through talent and brand focused original content development: creative editorial photo galleries, engagement tools, user generated content, social media referral traffic, email referral traffic, content partnerships, search engine optimization, and third party provided content
  • This individual must approach content with a journalistic sensibility; capable of creating and packaging news and information in highly credible, professional and clever ways—and able to lead/coach on-air talent to extend our brands into compelling, multi-media content machines.  This involves use of 3rd Party Research to drive content development.
  • Ability to leverage data and website metrics to advance our digital goals.
  • Regularly meets with the current Corporate Digital Marketing team on best practices, strategies, content ideas, and content marketing to help meet company digital goals
  • Coordinates all onsite/offsite coverage of events through live streams, real time social media and website updates
  • Executes email marketing with input from PDs, Marketing teams and Ad Sales
  • Works with Marketing teams to ensure that all digital assets are aligned with the station/brand by hosting a dedicated Digital Marketing Meeting each week
  • Implements digital contesting via vendor platforms, social and texting platforms
  • Collaborates with sales teams on advertisement-based content strategies and execution and to ensure best programming opportunities/franchises are monetized
  • Oversee digital equipment working with IT and Engineering to determine local equipment needs and services

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Creative and highly motivated to deliver content excellence within any given assigned parameters and topics—while capturing the vibe and humor of our brands and formats
  • Has an inquisitive nature and is dialed into pop culture
  • Able to thrive within a fast-paced environment and multi-task in an organized, professional, dependable manner
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or mass communications required with excellent grammar and writing skills are essential, along with a visual sensibility
  • Prior experience reporting/writing/repurposing content through media distribution channels;
  • Knowledge of WordPress, SEO and Social Media Posting techniques and policies and email platforms is required
  • Terrific brainstorming and collaboration skills—with talent at varying levels of seniority and digital experience
  • Writing samples and/or portfolio required
  • Proven ability to lead and coach a team

Beasley Media Group is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Philadelphia Cluster. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing IT teams in a 24×7 fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee local IT operations and ensure smooth running of IT systems 
  • Lead and manage the local IT team  
  • provide ongoing support and guidance to the local broadcast engineering team. 
  • Follow and implement corporate IT policies and procedures, including security protocols and disaster recovery plans 
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and innovations, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness 
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs, and provide technical support and training as needed 
  • Manage IT projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and testing 
  • Experience with radio automation systems such as WideOrbit is desired but not required 
  • Experience with Hyper-V ins cluster environment  
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10 
  • Strong Understanding of VLAN management and network Troubleshooting in a Ubiquiti and cisco environment 
  • MAC OS and Linux knowledge is a plus 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of experience in IT management, with a strong understanding of networking, security, and broadcast operations
