You will assist the Digital Program Director in content creation, strengthening the radio station’s social media brands on a daily basis and executing a content strategy.  This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door to learn digital content creation, digital marketing and the radio business.  No day is the same at this fast-paced and engaging multi-media company located in beautiful St. Petersburg, just over the Gandy Bridge from Tampa.  This is a full-time position.

Job description:

  • Work closely with the Digital Program Director to execute digital strategy that helps to achieve quarterly and annual goals
  • Produce blogs
  • Produce social media posts
  • Produce station newsletters
  • Oversee the accuracy and details, including the layout and visual components, and develop materials for a specific audience or demographic.
  • Monitor the station social media accounts and offer constructive insight on performance and interactions
  • Monitor the station websites and offer constructive insight into performance
  • Help the stations reach quarterly and annual goals by executing the digital strategy

The Digital Sales Specialist will be well-versed in Targeted Display Advertising, OTT/CTV, Email Marketing, SEM/SEO, Targeted Audio, Social and Content marketing, and will be analytical, organized, solution-minded, and customer-centric.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1-3 years’ experience in the digital advertising space
  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Analytics, Programmatic Advertising, Search Engine Marketing, Social Media Advertising, and Search Engine Optimization
  • Campaign management experience within digital ad servers (Google Ad Manager, Triton Digital, and Facebook Ad Manager are preferred)
  • Strong project management skills with proven abilities to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, collaborate across departments, and work with internal and external partners
  • Incredibly high attention to detail – errors, typos, and inconsistencies really irritate you

The Digital Sales Specialist (DSS) will possess a deep knowledge of digital, from tools that work best to achieve specific goals, to the elements needed for a successful campaign. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking individually with sellers, or presenting to a room filled with clients. The DSS will work cooperatively with salespeople to strategize and execute flawless digital campaigns, sharing the following responsibilities: 

• Perform customer needs analysis (CNA) in the field to uncover client’s goals and strategic objectives

The role is responsible for driving new digital revenue from local and regional advertisers by developing marketing solutions from our diverse digital offerings.
