CHARLOTTE, N.C. — August 13th, 2026 — Beasley Media Group announced today that Nick Rivers will join the company’s Charlotte radio cluster as Assistant Program Director for WSOC-FM/Country 103.7 and WKQC-FM/K104.7. In addition to his programming responsibilities, Rivers will host afternoon drive on Country 103.7, filling the opening created by Charlie & Debbie’s recent move to mornings.
Rivers brings nearly two decades of radio experience to the role, including the past 6 1/2 years with Hubbard Radio in West Palm Beach, Florida. Most recently, he served as assistant brand manager and music director for WIRK and WEAT while also hosting afternoon drive on WIRK and nights on WUBE in Cincinnati. Earlier in his career, he held programming positions in Greensboro, North Carolina; Brunswick, Georgia; Savannah, Georgia; and Charlotte.

The appointment marks a return to Charlotte for Rivers, whose radio career began in the market nearly 20 years ago. In his new role, he will work with the programming teams at Country 103.7 and K104.7 while taking on a prominent on-air role at Country 103.7.

Rivers also recognized the colleagues and leaders who supported his development during his tenure with Hubbard Radio.

Rivers officially begins his new programming and on-air responsibilities with Beasley Media Group Charlotte on Aug. 24.
