The grand opening of Rock & Brews in Royal Oak—co-owned by rock legends Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS—was marked not only by music and celebration, but by a strong commitment to those who served.
As part of the opening festivities, Rock & Brews presented a $3,000 donation to Vets Returning Home, a local organization dedicated to supporting veterans in need. The donation was made alongside Big Jim O’Brien of 94.7 WCSX (who coordinated the fundraiser) and Sandy Bower of Vets Returning Home, highlighting a shared mission to give back to the veteran community.
“Veterans have given everything for this country, and supporting them isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s a responsibility,” said Jim O’Brien. “What stands out about Paul Stanley is that his commitment comes from a place of real respect. This isn’t just a gesture—it’s something he genuinely believes in, and that makes a difference.”
Rock & Brews has built its brand around honoring veterans and active military, with ongoing initiatives across its locations that provide support, recognition, and community connection.
The Royal Oak location continues that tradition, bringing together music, food, and purpose—while reinforcing the importance of supporting those who have served.
