Detroit, MI (October 13, 2025): Beasley Media Group’s 101 WRIF and 94.7 WCSX joined forces to pay tribute to rock’s one and only “Prince of Darkness” with a sold-out Celebration of Ozzy concert event at District 142 in Wyandotte on Friday, October 10th.
To kick off the Halloween season in true rock ‘n’ roll fashion, the two legendary Detroit rock stations came together to honor the music and legacy of Ozzy Osbourne. The night featured powerhouse performances from Resurrection – A Judas Priest Tribute and Detroit’s own Ozzy Rebourne, who delivered an electrifying set celebrating the timeless catalog of one of rock’s greatest icons.
Fans packed the venue as both WRIF and WCSX cranked up the volume and celebrated Ozzy’s music, energy, and influence. Every concertgoer received exclusive limited-edition stickers from each station — WRIF’s “Ozzy Forever” and WCSX’s “Long Live Ozzy” — designed to commemorate the night.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales benefited the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, continuing Detroit’s proud tradition of combining music and community impact.
“This event was a true celebration of everything Ozzy stands for – great music, larger-than-life energy, and an enduring connection with fans,” said Program Director Jade Springart. “To see WRIF and WCSX unite for this cause and sell out District 142 shows just how strong the Motor City’s love for rock and Ozzy really is.”
