Title: Regional Digital Content Creators

Description: Beasley Media Group, LLC is looking for regionalized local content creators to provide scalable, shareable, searchable and promotable content. Applicants must excel at crafting and distributing locally focused journalistic news and editorial lifestyle articles, including blog style posts, listicles and galleries. Must possess an ability to create brand aligned local content to foster traffic and audience engagement and revenue. Successful candidates must be intimately familiar with BMG’s radio markets and local lifestyle, culture and interests of the regions, must possess both passion and knowledge for locally focused content.

Specific duties may include (but are not limited to) providing daily pitches; gathering information on project specific areas; checking for conceptual or grammatical errors in drafts; auditing and advising local content creators; supporting custom content features and revenue generating opportunities; content marketing; adhering to deadlines; working on special projects if suitable; demonstrating excellent writing skills; and incorporating various media, including social media, video, audio, audience engagement, gallery and graphic elements to create articles.


–Proven experience writing and producing multi-platform locally driven content;

–Creative and highly motivated to deliver content excellence within any given assigned parameters and topics—while capturing the vibe and humor of our brands and formats;

-Has an inquisitive nature and is dialed into the local lifestyle, culture and interests of the local market;

-Able to thrive within a fast-paced environment;

–Excellent grammar and writing skills are essential, along with a visual sensibility;

–Prior experience reporting/writing/repurposing content through media distribution channels;

–Knowledge of SEO and Social Media Posting techniques and policies and email platforms is required;

–Terrific brainstorming and collaboration skills;

–Writing samples and/or portfolio required;

–Bachelor’s degree in journalism or mass communications preferred and must adhere to journalistic code of ethics.

–Video Production skills are a plus

Digital Account Executive

Overview of role:

Beasley Media Group is expanding our Digital Sales Team! We are looking for senior-level Digital Account Executives to join our quickly growing dedicated digital team. The role is responsible for driving new digital revenue from local and regional advertisers by developing marketing solutions from our diverse digital offering. Products include a wide range of digital media products as well as our owned sites and apps.We are seeking individuals that are passionate, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a proven track record of over-achieving sales goals.


  • Developing new business by prospecting and utilizing our lead generation platforms
  • Delivering persuasive and effective sales presentations with the ability to negotiate and close deals
  • Manage and develop a strong pipeline of business in order to meet/exceed revenue targets
  • Work with internal digital execution teams to layout client’s needs and develop custom marketing programs that meet/exceed client’s objectives
  • Maintaining client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and renew campaigns


  • 6+ years in digital ad sales or digital agency experience with a strong track record of success in developing new business from local and regional accounts
  • Strong relationships with local advertisers
  • Experience in selling SEM, Programmatic Display/Video, Social Media, Email Marketing, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Consistent above budget performer.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a consultative / solutions selling experience.
  • Team player focused on individual but also team growth
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales KPI’s.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, Lead Generation tools
  • IAB Certification or related certifications preferred

Beasley Media Group is seeking individuals to join our Street Team. This entry level job is ideal for those who are passionate about radio and marketing and are looking to “get a foot in the door” at one of the nation’s leading broadcast companies. Street Team members are brand ambassadors and integral parts of the radio stations. This position requires frequent participation at station promotions, appearances, live broadcasts and events, including interaction with listeners. You must be willing and able to drive station vehicles.


  • Must be able to work nights and weekends with select weekday availability
  • Must be detail-oriented, well organized, and a team player
  • Proficiency with computers/MS Office; experience with Photoshop and video editing a plus
  • Outgoing personality is essential
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
  • Must have a valid NC driver’s license and stellar driving record.
