Title: Manager, Digital Media Strategy

Location: Charlotte, NC

Overview of role: The Manager of Digital Media Strategy is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Digital Media Strategy team. This position will be the lead point of contact for the Digital Media Strategy team members, as well as the local markets & sales teams (as needed), working hand-in-hand with the team to ensure we are delivering strategic recommendations and fulfilling all email marketing campaigns as requested. The Manager of Digital Media Strategy will also be heavily involved in the onboarding and maintenance of our proposal software and will take the lead on large RFPs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Digital Media Strategy team members with a focus on growth and development, providing support when questions arise, and helping to troubleshoot any campaign issues
  • Delegate tasks out to team members and oversee team workload/bandwidth
  • QA team members’ proposals and email campaign set-ups as needed
  • Train team new hires on all processes
  • Develop and maintain training materials for Digital Media Strategy team and assist with sales trainings as needed
  • Take the lead on putting together large RFPs, including strategy, target audience, recommended tactics, and budget allocation
  • Collaborate with markets on the onboarding and maintenance of our proposal software, ensuring that products, rates, and collateral are accurate and updated as needed
  • Assist with market research efforts and distribution of Borrell data to markets
  • Recommend continuous process improvements to gain efficiencies and scalability
  • Assist with new product launches by helping to define processes, develop training, and support roll-out efforts
  • Join monthly meetings with internal markets to discuss upcoming opportunities and review existing campaigns

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of work experience in digital sales support/media planning, preferably in a management function
  • Must have direct experience in the digital media space, including programmatic display, email marketing, paid search, & social media
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • IAB Certification or related certifications preferred.
