Beasley Media Group Boston has a unique opportunity for the next video production wizard!  Our growing digital department is seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to join our video team.

Can you tell a story with video in 90 seconds?  15 seconds?  How about just 6 seconds?  We’re looking for a videographer who gets how video is different today from only two years ago, understands the nuances of how to produce for different social platforms, and knows how to build an effective video story both with and without audio.

You will be working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, shooting and editing video for our advertisers and for all five of our local radio stations – HOT 96.9, MAGIC 106.7, ALT 92.9, Country 102.5, and 105.7 WROR.

These projects include artist interviews, performances, event recaps, fun social videos, commercial assets, and custom client videos.  You never know if you’ll be filming your favorite artist during a small, intimate performance or at a huge concert venue in front of tens of thousands of people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pre-production – meeting with clients, discussing goals, storyboarding ideas
  • Production – setting up lighting, sets, and shooting video
  • Post production – editing, graphics, video, and audio correction
  • Posting videos for distribution on our station websites and social media
  • Video asset management – keeping organized and on-time

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of video production experience working within broadcast or digital media or as an in-house producer working for agencies or brands
  • Adobe Creative Cloud – namely Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator
  • Experience producing video specifically for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Working with diverse audiences while collaborating with internal and external partners
  • Lighting, green screen, and digital video cameras
  • Live switching experience and live audio mixing are plusses
  • Incredibly high attention to detail – errors, typos, and inconsistencies really irritate you
