Title: Local Sales Manager – Beasley Media Group, Inc.
Location: Charlotte, NC
Description: Beasley Media Group is in search of a motivated, experienced, selling Local Sales Manager to lead the Charlotte Sales team in an extremely focused local sales effort. The LSM will be involved but not limited to developing account plans and strategies, cultivating, influencing and maintaining relationships with clients and delivering product presentations.
Responsibilities include leading, hiring, training and managing the sales staff to achieve sales budgets and outpace the market: increasing revenue by developing creative sales opportunities. Oversee efforts of sales team by reviewing sales proposals and negotiating with clients; effectively managing inventory and pricing; forecasting and reporting sales volumes, potential sales.
- Three to five years of previous sales management experience
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices
- Understanding of broadcasting, pricing inventory, ratings, marketing, promotion, collection standard, digital media, NTR programs and events.
- Strong communications skills with sales staff, clients, and support staff.
